End-of-Year Examination (70% of Semestral Assessment 2) 2009

Students have to work in groups. Each group has to produce:

· a script of a 5-minute scene (2 to 5 pages of foolscap paper)

· a storyboard (between 5 and 10 panels) with 3 camera angles.

Script

· Can be typed or handwritten.

· Should be about 5 minutes’ long

· Decide:

Ø what the scene is about

Ø how many characters there are

Ø where the scene is taking place

Ø how many camera shots you need

Storyboard

· it looks like a comic strip

· Need to be between 5 and 10 panels

· Need to include the 3 camera shots taught

Ø long shot

Ø close up shot

Ø over the shoulder shot
